MUDzilla is a Mozilla based line-by-line telnet client for online services such as MUDs, MUSHes, MUCKs, and MOOs. Features include command history, scrollback buffer, colour configuration, recent connection list, tab completion, context web search, and automatic hyper-linking.

This project was started as the base for the branching of a project named MOOzilla, which is under ongoing development. Our project is open source to permit others to learn what we learned in creating this client, so that other people do not have to suffer the way we have suffered.

This project is maintained by the Wizzen of MOO Canada. It is released under the GNU General Public License, copyright © MOO Canada Inc, 2001.

We are seeking patches to add ANSI support to MUDzilla. Needed is a function that takes a string and returns a list of HTML elements which may then be displayed. Please let us know if you are interested in adding this or any other feature.

We're back online again. For unknown reasons Mozdev deleted all our XPI files. Versions 1.4 and 1.3 have been uploaded from backups. Versions 1.2 and 1.1 are presumed lost.

* 11 October 2003

MUDzilla version 1.4 has been released! Contains updates backported from the more advanced MOOzilla project to fix bugs caused by API changes in Mozilla.

* 9 September 2003

After two years in limbo, this project is back. The spam has been cleared out of the forum, and updates to MUDzilla are in progress.

The mudzilla project can be contacted through the mailing list or the member list.
